> In seinem neuen Stück »Hashirigaki« hat Heiner Goebbels mit drei Schauspielerinnen/Musikerinnen gearbeitet, die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten: Marie Goyette (Kanada/Berlin), bekannt aus »Die Wiederholung« von Heiner Goebbels, Charlotte Engelkes (Schweden), ehemaliges Mitglied von Michael Laubs Kompanie »Remote Control«, und Yumiko Tanaka (Japan). Aus verschiedenen kulturellen Hintergründen stammend, variieren sie in Charakter und Spielweise, und dennoch finden sich Gemeinsamkeiten, die Heiner Goebbels kreativ nutzt. Eine Performance, die auch von ihren Darstellerinnen handelt: ihrer Sprache, ihrem Gesang, ihren Körpern und Instrumenten. Das Stück mit Texten von Gertrude Stein erzählt keine Geschichte, sondern gestaltet sich als Rätsel, ein schräges Märchen, meditativ und doch voller Bewegung.
> In his new work »Hashirigaki«, Heiner Goebbels works with three actress-musicians who could not be more different from each other: Marie Goyette (Canada/Berlin), known for her performance in »Die Wiederholung« by Heiner Goebbels, Charlotte Engelkes (Sweden), a former member of Michael Laub’s theater company »Remote Control«, and Yumiko Tanaka (Japan). With their different cultural backgrounds, the three vary both in character and ways of performing, and yet they find points of commonality, which Heiner Goebbels then uses creatively. This is a performance which is also about the actresses themselves: their words, their singing, their bodies and their instruments. The play, which consists of texts by Getrude Stein, does not tell a story, but rather presents a riddle, an offbeat fairy tale, meditative and yet full of movement. |
