The festival is hosted by the DANCE ON ENSEMBLE, which was founded in 2015. With the festival it aims to share its vision, experiences and artistic encounters with the audience. Five productions from the repertoire for dancers 40+ created over the last two years will be seen in Berlin for the first time, having toured all over Europe and further afield.

There will be three premieres, by Johannes Wieland, Rabih Mroué and Ivo Dimchev. In addition, contributions from friends and collaborators, presentations of related research projects, open dialogues, films, installations, a photo exhibition, and a participatory project with Berliner seniors. Open classes and workshops offer opportunities for dancers to join the festival artists in their work.
