Bini Adamczak

Biography

Bini Adamczak lives in Kreuzberg 36 and works as a writer, performer and visual artist. She writes on the topics of communism and queer sexuality. Her publications include “Kommunismus. Kleine Geschichte, wie es endlich alles anders wird” (2004, English translation, “Communism for Kids”, 2017) and “Gestern Morgen. Über die Einsamkeit kommunistischer Gespenster und die Rekonstruktion der Zukunft” (2011). In 2016 she curated the series “The Return of European Fascism” as part of the festival “The Aesthetics of Resistance – Peter Weiss 100” at HAU Hebbel am Ufer. At “MARX200: Politics – Theory – Socialism” at HAU in May 2018 she took part in the round table discussion on “Desire – Fetish – Virtuosity”.
