Masha Qrella

Biography

Masha Qrella, born in 1975, has been active as a musician since the 1990s. She works both as a solo artist and in a variety of bands. She is a founding member of Mina, Contriva and the band NMFarner. In 2002 she released her first solo album “Luck”, featuring her version of post-rock. She tours worldwide. In 2007 she presented reworkings of Kurt Weill’s and Frederick Loewe’s Broadway compositions at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, which were released on the album “Speak Low”. Masha Qrella took part in the Gob Squad production “Revolution Now!”
