The “marriage of man and machine” was Heiner Müller’s obsession. His formulation “from the databank to the slaughterhouse” takes on a disquieting currency. In a lecture-concert, andcompany&Co. remind us of the forgotten socialist origins of Big Data and draw a line to contemporary post-democratic forms of governance, a life between cybernetics and revolts. “Down with the joy of submission!”
