Wearing a bear

“I just wanted to come here because I’ve dreamed about this place. I’ll tell you the second dream of the two that I had, even though they’re actually the same. It starts with me being here. It is neither day nor night – it’s a kind of half-night. But it looks just like this. Only the light is different. And I’m afraid. Of all the people that are there, you’re standing over there. You’re in both of my dreams. And you’re afraid too. I get even more afraid when I see how afraid you are.”

The project “Wearing a bear” is a performance in space and time that was created while working with the formats of the workshop and the cabinet of curiosities. It deals with the phenomenon of violence. It is a sound installation and performance at the same time – in which human bodies, props, sounds and smells work alongside one another.
