Our Love Goes to the Absent Performers

During Berlin Art Week, HAU presents three days of open-air performances on the meadow in front of HAU2: With “Our Love Goes to the Absent Performers”, Gintersdorfer/Klaßen look for ways to make live connections among physically isolated dancers, as intercontinental travel isn’t currently possible – flipping their absence into a performative presence. In some cases, they will follow instructions, sometimes creating embodiments, choreographies and material combinations in the sense of a radical proximity with the team on site.
