Tackling dominant morality can be dangerous in Pakistan. That makes the history of the “Late Night Show with Begum Nawazish Ali” all the more astonishing. In the popular Pakistani television show, moderator Ali Saleem appeared in the role of the drag queen Begum Nawazish. Now banned, Begum Nawazish Ali will breathe new life into her talk show at HAU1 with illustrious guests. She will receive musician Sasha Perera, Electornic-Beats-Editor Daniel Jones, director Dietrich Brüggemann und Robin Mallick, now head of the Goethe Institute in Rio, after being stationed in Dehli.
