As long as the night twirls

  • Dance
ca. 80 min

In “As long as the night twirls” five performers from North Africa and Europe grapple with traditional rituals of initiation and transition, plunging into extreme, uncontrollable physical states. Starting from their unique biographies, they create an emotional and spherical performance; a landscape of bodies, space, light and sound that points to a possible utopia in which we might get beyond binary social (gender) structures.
