“Stranger” is a life-size board game about first impressions. The performance questions how you deal with the immediate images that are constantly formed in your mind when you look at others. How do you respond in a social context to the stereotypes you form in those moments? What do you dare to acknowledge in front of strangers? The Dutch artist Emke Idema creates a platform that tries to reveal the tension between our intuition and our social norms.
