One of the last remaining open spaces in Berlin is the Cuvrybrache. Early in 2012, artist Yukihiro Taguchi and architect Chiara Ciccarello created the first pioneer hut there, laying the cornerstone for what is now a settlement of around 100 people. Within the context of “Treffpunkte,” Yukihiro Taguchi, Raul Walch and curator Lutz Henke formulate an artistic-documentary intervention as a contribution to the narrative of the embattled property. In the compact space of a modified shipping container, FUTURE LIVING lab will host an documentary, archival structure to collect, display and commemorate remnants of the past as witnesses of the future and will offer a space for discussion.
