“On Orientations” is part of an experimental series developed by An Kaler and various collaborators, including musician Brendan Dougherty, who recently performed with Meg Stuart at HAU, the visual artist Tiago Romagnani Silveira, and the light designer Hans Meijer. It is about touching that arises without physical contact. What are the intentions, expectations and attitudes at play in touching before it comes to physical contact?
