Two turntables, a camera, a video projector, two mics, a screen. Those are the stage directions for the series “Plattenspieler”, in which Thomas Meinecke invites various partners to talk about music, their cultural assumptions and their visual preferences. Next guest is Young Jean Lee. Last year, the American writer, director and filmmaker released her debut album, “We’re Gonna Die,” with her band, Future Wife.

For the HAU event series “Plattenspieler" Thomas Meinecke invites guests on a regular basis.
