Place yourself in a midnight blue chest, let yourself be taken through the black mill. Past Koraktor, the crate that hides the magic book of the miller. Past twelve ravens who were still apprentices in the light of day. See the struggle of Krabat against his master. Keep going, past the clapper of the mill wheel. Do you hear the magic music? The crates and chests are stuffed with knowledge. Krabat is young, Krabat wants to know things. If you want to know things as well, we invite you to take a journey through the mill and the dark machine of the theatre.
After their “Dead Season” cycle and their “delightfully idiosyncratic adaptation of Don Quixote” (Tagesspiegel), the performance collective Showcase Beat Le Mot is back at HAU1 with their latest production, which also appeals to young audiences and features music by Barbara Morgenstern, Mike Majkowski and Viola Bornmann.
