Benny Claessens / HAU Hebbel am Ufer

The Last Goodbye / Vibrant Matter

  • Performance
English /  180 minutes (incl. intermission)

Standstill is a farewell to the body, to conditions, to heteronormativity, to everything, it is the introduction to what should be of interest to us: the future. Goodbye as an end point, the beginning of every good story. This new HAU production by and with Benny Claessens and his guests marks the next step in the close collaboration with the Berlin-based performer, actor and director and delivers a perfect conclusion to this season.

Part of the show is the guest performance “Trans*people killed since April 2017” by Psoriasis, Video by Bryan Schall.
