Part of "Arbeit Liebe Geld / 5 years of Houseclub"

  • Performance
ca. 60min

In 2016 the Housclub will be five years old. HAU is taking this anniversary as the occasion to put on a festival entitled “Arbeit Liebe Geld”. What is the relationship between these three things for a young person who is planning his or her journey into the working world? What working “options” does 15-year-old Osman have, for instance, and above all what does he decide if he dreams of baking cakes but the career advisor is pointing him in the direction of sales? Do you love what you do? What are the costs of the decisions we take? Pupils from the Hector Peterson School will work intensively with the idea of the future and, as part of an artistic process, will also engage with the topics of work, love and money. One group will develop a walk-in installation with the sculptor Todosch Schlopsnies.
