After their show at the re-opening last November, the Dutch actors’ collective Wunderbaum returns once again to Berlin. Inspired by an exchange with Rotterdam sociologist Willem Schinkel and his publication “De nieuwe democratie,” the ensemble bids farewell to contemporary democracy. Wunderbaum looks for ways out of the dilemma and gets ready for total dismantlement. At HAU Hebbel am Ufer they are presenting the beginning of their research. “There’s something new in the air. It gets more and more visible in the middle of the global crisis. The alternative is: The New Forest.”
