HAU Hebbel am Ufer’s Hygiene Policy for the Opening of its Theaters to Audiences

(Effective 11 September 2020)

TICKET SALES
Tickets can be purchased online or during the day at the box office. The box office will be closed in the evenings before the event, but you can purchase tickets online up until the event begins.

For online purchases, we store first and last name, complete postal address, e-mail address and telephone number from all guests. The data gathered will not be transmitted to other databases and will automatically get deleted four weeks after the event.

Tickets are personalized and non-transferable. You can choose your own seat.

If you purchase tickets online, you will receive an email containing all relevant information. If you buy a ticket during the day at the box office, you will receive a printed copy of the information.

HYGIENIC MEASURES
Please observe all distancing regulations inside all buildings.

You can find hand-sanitizer dispensers at every entrance and exit. We ask that you sanitize your hands before entering.

Please wear a mouth/nose mask throughout the building. From the start of the event to the end, you may remove your mask while seated. Guests without a mouth/nose mask will not be allowed to enter the building.

In case you are experiencing clinical symptoms of COVID-19 – such as fever, cough, sniffles, sore throat, shortness of breath, headaches, aching limbs, gastrointestinal problems, weakness and/or diminished sense of smell or taste – or if you have recently been in contact with infected persons, we ask that you refrain from visiting HAU Hebbel am Ufer.

ENTRY
Entry into the building starts half an hour before the event. We are currently not able to allow late entry.

The checking of tickets will be electronic and contactless upon entering the building. Please take the most direct way to the main theater hall to find your seat.

The coat checks are closed.

SEATING
There is a distance of 1.5 meters in between each seat.

We currently only offer single seating. There is open seating. The seats are fixed to the ground and may not be moved.

VENTILATION
We have converted the ventilation systems in all halls so that the air supply is 100% outdoor air, which clearly exceeds the recommended ratio of 25 m3/h/person.

GASTRONOMY
HAU1 and HAU2’s bars and WAU are closed.

Starting one hour before the event begins at HAU1 or HAU2, you will have the opportunity to buy drinks, which you may be consume outside or take into the hall.
