CTM 2022 – Contact

Festival for Adventurous Music and Art

HAU Hebbel am Ufer co-presents two projects at CTM Festival 2022. At HAU4, Dana Gingras / Animals of Distinction, who opened CTM festival in 2020 at HAU1, present “Jump Cut,” a six-episode series that features multi-disciplinary casts of artists exploring remote collaboration. With: Marie Davidson, Lucrecia Dalt, Peaches, Sabrina Ratté & more. Relocated to Radialsystem, coproduced by HAU Hebbel am Ufer, performance group Fronte Vacuo presents “Humane Methods [ΣXHALE]”. A living biome that combines dance, theatre, interactive music, body art, and biotechnological installation, the piece reflects on the forms of human violence that have risen from the coalescence of polarised societies, algorithmic megastructures, and natural ecosystems. During this collective, durational experiment in four episodes, a ritualistic choreography emerges where human, more-than-human, and AI lifeforms influence one another, revealing an uneasy interdependence.
