Kristin Schulz

Biography

Kristin Schulz, born in 1975, is a writer, translator and literary scholar. From 1998-2011 she worked with Frank Hörnigk editing the Heiner Müller edition at Suhrkamp Verlag. Since 2002 she has been professor at the Institute for German Literature at Humboldt University in Berlin, and since 2008 she has directed the “Heiner Müller Archiv/Transitraum”. She is the editor of “Müller MP3: Heiner Müller Tondokumente 1972–1995”, which won the German Audio Play Prize in 2012. In 2014 she published the collected poems of Heiner Müller, “Warten auf der Gegenschräge”, also with Suhrkamp.
