Peter Seynaeve

Biography

Peter Seynaeve, born in Belgium in 1970, graduated as an actor from the Studio Herman Teirlinck in 1996. He made his debut in Luc Perceval’s theatre marathon “Ten Oorlog”. After that he acted with Laika, tg Stan and Het Paleis and for five years was a member of the permanent actor’s ensemble at Het Toneelhuis. He made his debut as a director with a production of “As You Like It” performed by youngsters and is now the artistic head of JAN. With this company he has directed “Je ne comprends pas”, “Thierry”, “cement”, “Mondays” and “betty & morris”. He has also been a coach on productions by Jan Martens, the film “Little Black Spiders” by Patrice Toye, the plays “Anna” by Joke Devynck at Bronks and “Flou” and “Song#2” by Abka Haring and Benjamin Verdonck at Het Toneelhuis.
