Biography

Camilla M. Fehér and Sylvi Kretzschmar have been working together since 2005. Under the name SKILLS the duo has been making music by means of dance and performance since 2011. In their works, it is no longer possible to tell if the body is reacting to the music or if the music is triggered, influenced and modulated by movement. SKILLS examine the role of the body in performing electronic live music. Concerts as dance performances and exhibitions/video works in clubs, galleries, theatres: SKILLS SKILLS (2012) concert-performance Kampnagel Hamburg and TENT/ WORM Rotterdam, PIANO SKILLS video/performance (2011), SCUM (2009) concert-performance with Electronic Music Theater at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt, MEGAFON (2008) concert-performance with Oliver Augst at Sophiensäle Berlin, Arbeitstitel/ Under Construction (concert-performance 2006/7) Plateaux Festival 2006 at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, TERRIBLE FUNCTIONAL concert-performance (2007) at Paradiso Amsterdam with Juan Felipe Waller and Hilary Jeffrey among others. Residencies at the Mousonturm (Frankfurt), at the Choreography Centre, PACT Zollverein (Essen), at the Kaaitheaterstudios (Brussels) Gasthuis (Amsterdam), Lantaren Venster in Rotterdam. 
SKILLS appeared at HAU Hebbel am Ufer in 2013 with the performance “Der Aufbau”.
