Sybille Müller

Biography

Sybille Müller (Germany) circulates as an artist between performance, dance pedagogy and media theory. She studied dance pedagogy and stage dance at the Rotterdamse Dansacademie (RDA) and received her diploma in media studies at the University of the Arts Berlin in 2012. Due to her studies in social and economic communication, she combines both media theoretical and choreographic interests in her work. Along with collaborating and participating as a performer (Isabelle Schad, Volker März, Martin Nachbar, TWO FISH, deufert+plischke, Colette Sadler and others), she has created her own works, for instance LAYER#1 (2010) with Laurent Dailleau, SELF-MADE (2013) with Irina Müller and Marcello Silvio Busato. Since 2006 she has been working with Eva Meyer-Keller on the projects – “Bauen nach Katastrophen” (2009) and “Cooking Catastrophes” (2011). The project “Bauen nach Katastrophen” led to the creation of the video work “Von Menschen gemacht” (2010).
