HAU Hebbel am Ufer hosted the Tanzplattform Deutschland 2022. From 16 to 20 March, the festival in Berlin brought together 13 current and remarkable positions of dance and choreographic creation, made possible by funding from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and Lottostiftung Berlin.

Editors and guest editors of Tanzbüro Berlin's online review plattform tanzschreiber review the 13 pieces of Tanzplattform 2022 on www.tanzschreiber.de. Individual articles are written by the participants of the tanzschreiber workshop programme for the Tanzplattform, "Texte in Bewegung" with Alexandra Hennig and Johanna Withelm.

Artist Talks
Students from the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (HZT) and the dance-studies programme of the Freie Universität Berlin speak with Tanzplattform artists about their productions in specially developed talk formats after several shows. Conversations about artistic practice, themes, intentions, perspectives and perception.

Jury

An independent jury has selected 13 productions for the 2022 programme. Consideration was given to 535 works produced between September 2019 and mid-September 2021. The 2022 jury includes journalist and scholar Arlette-Louise Ndakoze, dramaturg Matthias Quabbe, cultural journalist and dance critic Melanie Suchy, scholar, cultural activist and dramaturg Ana Vujanović, as well as Annemie Vanackere, artistic director and managing director of HAU Hebbel am Ufer and Ricardo Carmona, curator for dance and performance at HAU.
