For two decades now, Berlin independent label Staatsakt has stood for underground and non-conformist musical expressions. Although the founders’ original concept was to release music by their own band, Die Türen, the imprint expanded to become one of the most influential pillars of the local indie scene, helping shape the pop history of Berlin and beyond. As a base for countless acts, both established and on the rise, Staatsakt is now celebrating its anniversary with a vibrant gala at HAU Hebbel am Ufer, welcoming Berlin indie greats and special guests to the stage. On both evenings, the artists will be backed by the Magnetic Ghost Orchestra, a 17-piece big band led by Moritz Sembritzki that will perform unique arrangements of their respective hits to mark the occasion. Don’t miss out, or you might have to wait another 20 years for an event like this!
