Alexandra Bachzetsis

A Piece Danced Alone

  • Dance
  • Performance

Over the past years, Alexandra Bachzetsis has produced a diverse body of work in both theatrical and visual arts contexts. Her pieces scrutinise the mutual influence between the use of movement in pop culture and in dance. "A Piece Danced Alone" comprises an open ended suite of solos that are casually transmitted from one performer to the other. The difference between the two slowly dissolves and, like in a hall of mirrors, Doppelgängers appear.
