The desire to acknowledge and interact with plant consciousness brought Jared Gradinger and Angela Schubot into a deep immersion with nature and its inherent intelligence. In January 2018 “YEW” premiered at HAU Hebbel am Ufer, in the summer of 2018 the two artists adapted the indoor piece to an outdoor setting as part of their new cycle of work “The Nature of Us,” now the show is rerun. An experimental evening of intense encounters with human and non-human collaborators.
