Boris Nikitin

Versuch über das Sterben

  • Theatre
German /  With English surtitles /
Photograph of Boris Nikitin on an empty stage. He is sitting on a chair and reading a text.

One year after losing his father to ALS, Boris Nikitin chronicles the impact of the disease. Barely a year passed between the diagnosis and his death. Very early on, his father considered assisted suicide. A statement that changes everything. Combining the story of this disclosure with that of his own coming out, Nikitin develops an intimate, radical piece about what it means to enter the public sphere and make oneself vulnerable.
