Gîn Bali is a Kurdish-German guitarist, music educator, event organizer, DJ, community builder, and producer. With a background in classical guitar and influences from R&B, Hip-Hop, and Rock, they seamlessly blend various genres. Their sound ranges from Global Bass/Dubstep, Leftfield club, Jungle to South American techno and industrial.

She also organizes events like “YAYAcc” at JAKI in Cologne, serves as a board member of YAYA e.V., and works as a booker and writer. As a panel moderator and workshop leader in guitar, songwriting, and DJing, she actively promotes diversity in the music scene. Additionally, Gîn develops awareness concepts for cultural institutions and provides workshops, training, and consulting to create inclusive and safer spaces in the cultural landscape.

Open Monday to Friday, 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., kitchen open until 3:00 p.m.
On performance days, WAU remains open until 2 hours after the end of the performance.
On weekend performance days, WAU is open 1.5 hours before and 2 hours after the performance, with the kitchen open.
On Saturdays and Sundays without performances, WAU is closed.

Access: Entry to the WAU at HAU2 is at ground level. There are two designated parking spaces in front of the building (in Großbeerenstraße).
Sanitary facilities: There are sanitary facilities for people with disabilities.
