De Utvalgte

Visjonæren / Der Visionär

Part of "NO LIMITS"

Theatre

90min

In “Visjonæren” De Utvalgte takes off looking for social visions for the 21st century. In a free associated collage made up of vignettes that they invented themselves, film footage from Africa, text fragments from Ludvig Holberg’s “Jeppe on the Mountain”, video interviews (including with a drug therapist, a weapons expert, a peace activist and the Dalai Lama) a hallucinatory dialogue emerges between theatrical action and film projections in 3D, embedded in soundscapes created live by a band.

Co-production: Black Box Teater, BIT Teatergarasjen. Funded by: The Arts Council Norway, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
