Programme

Concert

Destroyer (solo)

Music

Destroyer’s first albums were still oriented toward typical proponents of home recording like Pavement or Guided By Voices, but their latest work “Kaputt” surprises with its cosily formulated melodies, rich in nuances. The result is more reminiscent of the pop of Prefab Sprout and Spandau Ballet than of punk or heavy metal. And unlike in previous concerts, where songwriter and band leader Dan Bejar appeared on stage with up to eight instrumentalists, the Vancouver-based Canadian musician is now appearing at HAU1 as a solo artist.
