Eliza Rescue Team

Report from the Interior

  • Performance
German /  60 min.

Models of wolves in rigid poses in front of a stage lined with hills. Everything sealed in a box, stopped in a single moment as a window to another world. The project by Eliza Rescue, whose protagonists got to know each other studying theatre in Giessen, deals with museum dioramas that present a life-like excerpt from the habitat of an animal. In this atmospherically dense stage essay, science fiction meets the diorama as a site of longing, a place to make sense of the world. What happens when a human being enters the diorama, or becomes part of a configuration that he can’t control?
