Fearless Speech #2 / Reconsidering Foucault

The Order of the Arts

Part of the HAU event series “Fearless Speech”

Dialogue

German /

Courageously and daringly telling the truth, or at least what one takes for the truth, was also a quality of modern art for the French philosopher Michel Foucault. Whether it is merely a quality of modern and contemporary art and whether all modern art is or should be courageous in this sense will be discussed.
