Speak Bitterness

Part of "30 Years Forced Entertainment"

PerformanceTheatre

English /

Over 6 hours Speak Bitterness shows a group of penitents whose enormous task it is to confess to everything. They are by turns cowed, breezy, anguished, reluctant, jovial and of course determined. The text they work from lies somewhere between a mad catalogue of unlikely human infamy and the transcript perhaps of some strange and comical show-trial.

Speak Bitterness will be performed by the six core-members of Forced Entertainment including Artistic Director, Tim Etchells – a rare chance to see all six core members perform together. As with other durational work, the audience are free to come and go as they please.
