100 Kisses

"In the war on anonymity our choice of weapon is the video camera. The streets will be our film set. Cigarette butts and litter our props and passersby the extras. We will do our best to complete our mission with a great moment of emotion, passion and liberation!” (SUPER NIGHT SHOT, Manifesto 2003)

In the performance SUPER NIGHT SHOT a performer has to talk a passserby into a film kiss. Since its premiere in Berlin’s Prater in winter 2003, this kiss has been repeated around the world in over 100 cities. The video documents this unusual event, someone wearing a rabbit mask kisses a stranger. The locations change, time passes, but the kiss goes on, from Berlin via Budapest to Krasnoyarsk and New York.
