Sujata Goel (IN)

Dancing Girl

  • Tanz im August

“Dancing Girl” depicts a performer who seeks to step outside of her body and confront the image of herself. Trained in both classical Indian and contemporary dance, Sujata Goel maps out her qualities, gestures and training forms in a most analytical fashion. How does a performer understand her sense of self as she becomes more conscious of it?
