Dreizehn Drei Dreizehn

TheatrePerformance

5-8 June 2014 guest performances at Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen

In 1913, Henry Ford’s assembly lines inaugurated a century of efficiency, which has continued to accelerate into our digital age today. In this context, engaging with Etel Adnan’s text “To Be in a Time of War”, written in 2003 after the invasion of Iraq, raises pressing questions: Am I a machine? Do such conflicts also destroy something in me? Actors, dancers, and the space around them come together to examine what kind of time we live in.
