Heimatabend

  • Music
ca. 90 min

The sound of migration, with Berlin choirs and bands from Greece, Italy, Croatia, Cuba, Morocco, Mozambique, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Serbia, Turkey, South Korea, and Vietnam. This music, which the immigrants of the first and second generation brought along in their “luggage” and have continued to foster and interpret here in Germany, has long had its effect on everyday life here – often still quite unnoticed – and provides a bit of fresh air to the traditionally German sector of native music.
