“Schwarzer Feminismus” (“Black Feminism”) is the title of the new book by writer, curator and filmmaker Natasha A. Kelly. What are the challenges facing Black women* in the Global North? And what can we learn from them today? The volume documents the continuity of this feminist intellectual tradition through texts that Kelly selected by Sojourner Truth, Angela Davis, bell hooks, Audre Lorde, Barbara Smith, Kimberlé Crenshaw, and others, some of which are appearing in German for the first time.
