Programme

La Re-sentida

La dictadura de lo cool / The Dictatorship of Coolness

Part of the festival “The Aesthetics of Resistance – Peter Weiss 100”

Theatre

Spanish /  approx. 90 minutes

If everything has been “capitalized out”, with money and rebellion, success and non-conformity standing side by side self-evidently, where is there room for acting in resistance? In the end, aren’t we all bobos, caught in these circumstances, only capable of celebrating our own little counter cultures and then consuming them again right away?

"La dictadura de lo cool" was staged at the Festival d'Avignon and will be shown at the Napoli Teatro Festival.
