Nine dancers band together into an archaic horde, their movements fluctuating between trance and funeral march. Lia Rodrigues and her Companhia de Danças have found a dystopian image for the consequences of worldwide social brutalization and the neo-fascism in Brazil. Rodrigues transforms once again contemporary dance into a politics of the body that is poetic and compelling.
