Imitation of Life

  • Theatre

Faked biographies, forged documents. Why did anyone believe them? “Imitation of Life” looks into the abyss that opens up when we recognise that things are not as they appear. Using documentary means, Boris Nikitin pays homage to the fascination of the theatre of illusion. By taking up the theme of fictionalized documents, he can bring together both aesthetic approaches in an impressive way.
