On Justice #7

Gerechtigkeit in Chiles Post-Pinochet-Ära

Unfortunately this event cannot take place. Despite applying early, the Chilean authorities did not provide Jorge Mateluna with the documents required for a passport, meaning that he cannot leave the country.
Tickets purchased online will be refunded automatically. In other cases, please contact our ticketing team for refunds of tickets already paid for: tickets@hebbel-am-ufer.de.

In 2016, Guillermo Calderón presented “Mateluna”, a commissioned work by HAU. The play describes the wrongful conviction of Jorge Mateluna, a former member of a resistance group against the Chilean dictatorship. It also documents the secret collaboration between the police and the judiciary. Jorge Mateluna will discuss this with a representative of the European Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR).
