A powerful DJ mix of UK bass, hip-hop and driving club beats, skilful use of R&B and rap samples: the sound of community darling YASO is not only musically but also culturally deeply rooted. As a queer DJ with Kurdish roots, DJ Yaso consciously focuses on community and creates stages where genuine connection can be felt. Not least as a member of the Sisterqueens scene.
