On 11 October, 2023, the consortium of the Berlin research project “Transforming Solidarities” published the “Berlin Declaration – In Defense of the Migration Society”. To date, this declaration has found more than 2000 supporters. The declaration states: “It is with increasing bewilderment that we have been following the ongoing questioning of the right to asylum in recent weeks and months. The sweeping defamation of those seeking protection has crossed the line into contempt for humanity. Now it is time to stand up and speak out in defense of the migration society.”
On 11 November, starting at 19:30 at HAU2, we will open the stage for the Berlin Declaration and invite all signatories to make their opposition known. Admission is free.
