Monika Werkstatt is a female producer and artist collective from Berlin, founded by Gudrun Gut. It brings together female musicians from the labels Monika Enterprise and Moabit Musik, and the line-up changes from concert to concert. The aspect of free improvisation is a new experience for all participants and a great enrichment of their artistic development. It's about mixing in, mingling, enjoying and learning. In February 2019, Monika Werkstatt developed the project “Dead Season” together with the collective Showcase Beat Le Mot at HAU Hebbel am Ufer.
