The WAU (Wirtschaft am Ufer) is the culinary stage on Hallesches Ufer and is intended to be a lively meeting place. With daily changing, freshly prepared lunch options, homemade cakes, and an evening menu, WAU invites you to stay – whether during the day, before or after a performance, for a coffee break, or simply a relaxed evening. After selected performances, there are regular events such as the Break @WAU series.

Mon and Tue: 12:00–17:00 (kitchen 12:00–15:00)
Wed to Fri: 12:00–22:00 (kitchen 12:00–15:00 and 17:00–21:00)
Sat: 17:00–22:00 (kitchen 17:00–21:00)
Sun: open only on HAU performance days
On performance days, the WAU is open with the kitchen serving food 1.5 hours before and 2 hours after the performance.
