Alyona Alyona

Concert

  • Music

With plenty of force and humour, Alyona Savranenko has gained an international following in recent years – despite any language barriers, rapping in her mother tongue of Ukrainian. With a strong flow and a sense of empowerment, she defies beauty norms and gender stereotypes. Or simply touches on her everyday life as a kindergarten teacher in her hometown. Alyona Alyona uses street credibility to put a completely positive spin on the somewhat problematic concept of authenticity while also standing for a universal, globally relevant pop with attitude. Since the attack on Ukraine, Savranenko's realities have also shifted – she's now involved with a local pharmacy, using her reach on social media to collect international donations.
