Workshop: June 16-20 from approx. 6-8pm
Performances: Expected on June 21 and 22 at 7pm
On June 21 and 22, HAU Hebbel am Ufer presents "Corbeaux" by Bouchra Ouizguen: a hypnotic, site-specific living sculpture that interrupts and transforms public spaces. For this full-body performance, performers from Morocco are joined by a local cast of Berliners.
In order to realize this project, Ouizguen relies on the support of participants from Berlin. HAU Hebbel am Ufer will organize a selection workshop, which will provide first insights into the performance and will at the same time enable the choreographer to cast the women who will join the performance.
The selected participants will be required to be present during all workshop sessions and performances.
We are looking for women
- between 15-99 years
- who are interested in dance, theater, and performance
- who are in good physical condition: the performance is very demanding on the neck and requires stability in the cervical region.
The workshop will be held in English.
A good physical condition, but no specific experience in dance is required.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions please contact Jana Penz until April 9, 2018 at: workshop@hebbel-am-ufer.de
HAU Hebbel am Ufer
HAU Hebbel am Ufer presents current positions at the interface of theatre, dance, and performance. Additionally, music, visual arts, and discursive events form a consistent part of the program. Without a fixed ensemble, international co-productions, festivals, and projects by the Berlin and (inter)national theatre and dance scene are developed and shown here.
