House Lives Matter Conference

  • Dialogue
English /  approx. 420 mins.

The House Lives Matter Conference brings key representatives of the American initiative to Berlin. As part of “Fierce Foundations,” the international ballroom community will gather at HAU Hebbel am Ufer to develop strategies to strengthen their houses and to deepen international exchange and networking.

Since 2016, House Lives Matter has been advocating for education, health and social justice for BIPoC and queer people in the ballroom scene across the United States. The conference creates a safe space to share knowledge, provide resources and develop empowering perspectives in the fight against racism, trans hostility, mass incarceration and HIV stigma.

The HLM Conference is more than just a meeting: it is community power, collective care and lived resistance. A grassroots movement – from the scene for the scene.

The conference and the community workshops are exclusively for the Ballroom community. If you are part of the Ballroom community, please contact info@saintseurope.com for more information and registration.
